Customised Chemical Peel
A Customised Chemical Peel is a clinical treatment designed to exfoliate and renew the skin by carefully applying a blend of medically graded acids. This process dissolves the superficial layer of damaged or dead skin cells, promoting cellular turnover and revealing smoother, healthier skin beneath. Because peels are highly customisable, we select the perfect formulation and strength to address your unique concerns, whether they involve texture, pigmentation, or breakouts. This versatile treatment can be safely and effectively applied to the face, neck, chest, and body.
AHA's
AHAs are water-soluble acids, meaning they primarily work on the surface of the skin. They function by gently loosening the bond between dead skin cells, allowing them to be easily shed. This action is key to improving skin texture, brightening dullness, and promoting better hydration. AHAs like Glycolic and Lactic Acid are ideal for clients concerned with dryness, fine lines, sun damage, and general skin luminosity.
BHA's
BHAs are oil-soluble acids, which allows them to penetrate into the pores and exfoliate from within the follicle. This makes them highly effective for targeting congestion and excess oil. BHA peels, most commonly Salicylic Acid, help to dissolve sebum and debris, reducing blockages and inflammation. They are the ideal choice for clients dealing with acne, blackheads, active breakouts, and oily or congested skin.
TCA
TCA peels are generally classified as medium-depth peels, designed for more significant skin concerns that lie deeper than the surface. This type of peel works by rapidly denaturing the keratin protein in the skin, causing a controlled and uniform exfoliation.
The primary benefit of TCA is its ability to effectively treat moderate to severe sun damage, deeper fine lines and wrinkles, persistent textural irregularities, and stubborn pigmentation (including melasma). Due to its deeper action, TCA peels require careful pre-treatment preparation and an expected period of noticeable post-peel flaking and downtime, delivering more dramatic and long-lasting restorative results.
